BAC Water

Bacteriostatic water. In education content, it is commonly discussed as a liquid used in reconstitution math.

Concentration

The amount of material per volume, commonly written as mg/mL.

Lyophilized

Freeze dried material, often appearing as a powder or puck in a vial.

Reconstitution

The process of adding a measured liquid volume to calculate concentration.

Units

U-100 syringe markings where 100 units equals 1 mL.

COA

Certificate of analysis, a document used to communicate testing information.

Batch Code

A code used to connect a product or material to a production or testing lot.

Research Use Only

Language separating research materials from human or veterinary treatment claims.

Half Life

A general term for the time it takes for a quantity to reduce by about half.

Protocol

A structured research plan or example schedule, not personal instructions.
